I have not blogged in a couple of weeks so I figured that I better catch up on our weeks. We have been staying pretty busy. Harper is learning so many new things everyday, I need to be sure to keep up or I will forget by next week. Mommy brain has taken over my old brain, I feel like I am always forgetting something.
I have been trying to find things for Harper and I to do during the week while daddy is working. She loves to get out of the house, and it gives me a chance to meet other mommies in the area. We have been going to the public library for infant story time, I like to call it "going to class". She loves being with the other babies, and it teaches me things to work on with her at home. If you are looking for something new and free to do with your baby, you should check it out.
She has learned to wave hi, of course she doesn't know what it means, but she does it. And it looks like she is wavying to herself. And she has discovered her tongue and she loves to stick it out now.
Another new thing is trying to feed herself, which is so messy. When I am feeding her the "fun" thing to do is hit the spoon and turn her head. So oneday I decided, to let her go for it, I took off her clothes and put the oatmeal in front of her. Needless to say, it was bath time afterwards.
I just had to throw this one in..I love a mess face.
Last but not least, my mom and nephew Ryland came over and we took our first trip to the park. I didn't know how she would handle the swings but she liked it. And so did Ryland.
Sorry that I am all over the place, but we have done alot since my last blog.
